OSR are currently recruiting for an exciting and flourishing full package public relations and marketing agency, who are all about the communications world that surrounds us. With a proven track record of over 15 years of delivering eloquent, imaginative & appealing campaigns for a vast array of audiences.

They’re looking for a PR Account Manger to join the expanding team.

This role needs someone who’s driven, creative and has a passion for the world of PR, be an outstanding team player assisting to deliver strategies to maximise reach, customer satisfaction and audience engagement.

To be considered for the role you will possess outstanding writing and communication skills, be very organised and full of enthusiasm, as well as experience working across a portfolio of B2B & B2C clients and an advanced knowledge of social media ‘know-how’, to be successful in this role you will be need to be confident in your ability to build & maintain relationships with key media and clients, as well as an interest in construction services, home improvements and household goods industries.

Core Responsibilities:

• Preserve and develop strong client, media and stakeholder relationships.
• Create word-perfect press releases, articles, features, digital copy, reports etc.
• Supply vital support to the accounts team, creating and executing communications strategies and public relations campaigns.
• Stay up to date with industry best practice, take part in relevant training/seminars and share this information with colleagues for the welfare of the business and their clients.
• Run a range of social media accounts, including content creation and analytics.
• Undergo research for new business proposals and present to prospective clients.
• Assemble and maintain an array of reporting documents including status reports and press cuttings portfolios.
• Source and develop ‘added value’ opportunities for clients to increase company revenue.
• Event planning, management, support including exhibitions promotional events and travel abroad.

Key Skills & Attributes:

• A minimum of 4 years’ experience in PR, communications or journalism.
• Outstanding copywriting skills (working knowledge of writing with technical bias is advantageous).
• Proven knowledge of the UK media (experience in building services/home improvements and household goods is an advantage).
• The ability to pitch original ideas that indicate calculated thinking in response to client briefs.
• Be confident, energetic and creative.
• Good working knowledge of social media platforms and techniques employed for client exposure.
• A passion for the public relations industry.
